Around and About, Inc. began in 1995 with the inspiration and perseverance of two brothers, Richard and Shawn Conrey. These two enthusiastic healthcare professionals strive each day to maintain its superior reputation as one of the leading orthotic/prosthetic and rehabilitative company of its kind. They desire only the caliber of staff they feel will provide the highest quality of care/ service and reflect a sincere devotion to humanity. Around and About, Inc. is located in Plantation (the central facility) and in West Palm Beach, Florida (satellite location). RICHARD W. CONREY, Jr., MS, PT, CPO, Founder
Richard is the President and Founder of A&A, Inc. and is an American Board Certified (ABC) and Florida Licensed Prosthetist/Orthotist with over 30 years of experience. He graduated with a Master’s of Science Degree in Physical Therapy (Summa Cum Laude and Class Valedictorian) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Barry University, Miami Shores, Florida. Richard completed his post graduate studies in Orthotics and Prosthetics at Northwestern University, Chicago. Richard is dedicated to helping people reach their optimum function and potential. He specializes in custom orthotic and prosthetic treatment for those suffering from various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
Sharon Niles, MSPT
Sharon Niles, MSPT. Sharon is one of our leading staff physical therapists who has extensive knowledge, experience and interpersonal abilities in the field of physical therapy and its applications with amputee training. She had graduated from University of Florida and Barry University with degrees in Health and Exercise Science, as well as Biological Sciences. She then pursued her graduate studies at both Barry University and Nova Southeastern University to obtain her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. She has worked in multiple patient settings including neurological, orthopedic and sports management, geriatric, pediatric and orthotics and prosthetics. Furthermore, Mrs. Niles served as an adjunct professor at Lynn University in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program. Sharon has a unique ability to listen to the needs of her patients with both compassion and sincerity to address the needs of her patients. She works with patients and gets results even beyond her patient’s expectations.
